From customer to payment in four steps
This is what an appointment looks like in the management area. The images show real screens with sample data from the German version.
Step 1
Add the customer and their dogs
Contact details, several dogs per customer and an internal note. You can import existing customers from a CSV list.
Step 2
Enter the appointment in the calendar
Week, day or agenda. When you enter it, you choose the customer, dog, service and payment method; recurring appointments become a weekly series.
Step 3
Record the training in the dog record
Training goals, a history with notes, vaccinations and documents. At the next appointment you can see where you are.
Step 4
Record the payment, create the receipt
Cash, TWINT, card on site or invoice. You see outstanding amounts at a glance and create invoices and receipts as PDF in your name.
What is already included
Calendar
Appointments in whole hours, series of up to 52 appointments, blocked times for holidays and breaks, calendar subscription for Google, Apple or Outlook.
Customers and dogs
Several dogs per customer, search, outstanding payments per customer and export as CSV.
Digital dog record
Health, behaviour and training in separate tabs, important notes, vaccinations with expiry date and documents as PDF or image.
Services and courses
Services with duration and price. Courses with a participant limit, weekly or every two weeks, with attendance for each session.
Invoices and receipts
PDF in your name with your own number sequence. VAT only appears if you are registered for VAT.
Team
Invite staff with the role Manager, Staff or Read only.
What you need to get started
A host account and your training location added once as a space, such as a ground, hall or meeting point. With “Only for my own management” it stays unpublished. After that you can also enter home visits and online sessions without a space.
If you like: rent out your space online
If you have a fenced field, a dog training ground or a hall, dog owners can book free slots through DogOasis and pay online. For this we review the space and you connect a payout account. You still enter courses and one-to-one appointments yourself.
What does the management cost?
CHF 0
Base fee
Calendar, customers, dog records, courses and receipts cost nothing. Appointments you enter yourself and payments you collect directly remain commission-free.
Only for online payment through DogOasis: 20 % commission, at least CHF 3.50 per booking, including payment via your booking link or QR code. DogOasis pays the payment provider's fees.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the management without renting out a space?
Yes. You work with your existing customers and enter appointments yourself. You add your training location once as a space. With “Only for my own management” it does not appear on the marketplace.
What does the dog school management cost?
There is no base fee. Commission only applies when a booking is paid online through DogOasis: 20 %, at least CHF 3.50 per booking.
Can my customers book courses online?
No. Today dog owners can only book spaces online. You enter courses, one-to-one appointments and participants yourself.
Can I bring over my existing customers?
Yes, as a CSV list with name, email, phone and address. You then add the dogs in the customer record.
Can staff work with me?
Yes. You invite them by email and give them the role Manager, Staff or Read only.
Does DogOasis send invoices to my customers?
No. You create invoices and receipts as PDF in your name and pass them on yourself.
